This dairy-free veggie dip is the perfect dip to pair with raw vegetables or to use as a sandwich spread. Whether you're bringing a vegetable platter to a party or trying to get you family to eat more veggies, this dip is the best!
This dairy-free dip is rich and creamy and goes with almost any vegetable. The secret ingredient is horseradish which gives it a zesty flavor.
I love making this dip in the summer to go with fresh produce from the farmer's market. It's so yummy that I can't get enough of it. And since it takes just a couple minutes to make, it's perfect for any time.

How To Make Dairy-Free Veggie Dip
This is such an easy veggie dip recipe to make. It takes 5 minutes to put together and uses only 1 bowl. But I recommend making this dip the day before you want to serve it for best flavor.
Step 1: To make it, whisk or mix together the vegan mayo, vegan sour cream, garlic, horseradish, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
Serve with your favorite fresh vegetables. Or use as a sandwich spread.
Expert Tips
- The longer this sits in the fridge, the better it tastes. For best results, make this dip the day before you are serving it.
- Do not use Sir Kensington's vegan mayo. It imparts a strange flavor and ruins the dip. I highly recommend Hellmann's vegan mayo.
What Is Horseradish?
The horseradish is what really makes this dip. But what is horseradish? It's a spicy root vegetable. Not surprisingly, it's part of the mustard family and also related to wasabi. You can find ground horseradish in a jar from the refrigerated section of the grocery store.
Recipe FAQs
I do not recommend freezing this recipe. When thawed the texture would get weird.
I love using it on a sandwich or even on top of a vegan burger. It's delicious on anything. It can also be used as a dip for chips.
Store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. This tastes best after several hours in the fridge although I usually make it the day before I need it.
